"Heya, I'm Kai Beckett. I was born in Berlin during World War II. The only reason I still look the way I am is because I'm immortal. Honestly, it's the best thing that's happened to me. Life's never too short when you're me! I've been able to travel the world and meet all sorts of people, but I know that being Immortal can be lonely, so I tend not to make any strong bonds with anyone. I don't want to be heartbroken when they die and I get to live on, you know? Oh, and don't worry about me being technically like seventy years old. I keep up-to-date with everything so I don't stand out like a few others that are like me. I love gambling, just because I'm one hell of a cheater, and I have a soft spot for anything cute. You know, kittens, babies and the like. I'm obviously a decent guy, but I've seen and lived through things that I would rather not have. Therefore the personality I'm portraying to you is only my 'cover up'. I can actually be very dark and I suffer from intense chronic nightmares."
"Like I said, I was born in Berlin during World War II. When I was toddler though, my parents moved to Sachsenhausen in northern Germany. What my mutter didn't know was that my vater was a Nazi and that he was in charge of the concentration camp built there. I had no clue either, and like many german children in germany during this time, I was brainwashed. The relationship between my parents became strained after my mutti found out what my vati was doing, well, I guess you could say domestic violence happened. I was so confused because I didn't understand, and I didn't even have a sibling to run to.
Once the war was over, my vati was executed by American soldiers. My mutti moved back to berlin, but at a young age I ran away. I guess you could say I couldn't handle the truth. It was then, during my wanderings, that I discovered the elixir to make me immortal. Despite the horrible things that had happened in my short life, I went for it anyway. It's the best decision that I ever made. I just wish I could continue traveling and stuff, because I don't like this academy much."
hiya there I'm silva and I've been roleplaying for four years! My characters appearance goes to a thanks from luke worrall and here is a simple rp sample i have come up with.
Hmm... Where could she be? He'd already checked the cafeteria, since a lot of students were dragging themselves out of bed to eat, but he didn't see her there. His next guess had to be the music room, since she had made it quite clear to him how important music was to her. Usually, he wouldn't be wandering the halls at ten am in the morning... especially when there were no classes for the day. Last night, he'd fallen asleep as soon as his head hit the pillow. After experiencing a dreamless sleep, his first thought upon awakening was Norah... Which was natural, he supposed. He'd spent quite an... interesting day with her yesterday, and it was understandable that the last thing you thought about before sleeping was the first thing you thought about when you woke up. Orion was pretty much positive he had feelings for her, he just had to figure out how sure she was... Well, given that one incident behind the tree, he shouldn't worry about that, but he still had that nagging feeling in the back of his mind.
Even though the music room was obviously sound-proofed, the door was kept wide open so he could hear various instruments even from a distance. He could pick a couple of instruments and name them, but there were some sounds that were foreign to him and none of the songs sounded familiar... Of course, only the extremely dedicated were probably practicing at ten am, therefore the pieces they were playing were most likely composed by themselves. If that was the case, Orion supposed he would have to give them props. If writing music was half as difficult as writing, say, a poem, then he thought it was impressive. Personally, he felt like he hadn't exactly felt his 'calling' yet, or natural talent or whatever you'd like to call it. Sure, he was a fast learner when it came to certain things, but he wasn't quite sure music was it.
He entered, vaguely realizing how seldom he came in here. It was a very nice room, and was shaped like a circle for some special reason... He forget why though. The walls were blue and it seemed pretty peaceful, but he wasn't exactly interested in the room right now. Once he heard the violin, he suddenly stopped and his gray eyes began darting back and forth, obviously hopeful. He found her pretty much right away, and even though she still seemed a bit worn out, he was happy to see her. He smiled automatically, but hid behind the wall before she was able to see him.
As he listened to her song, he couldn't help but feel a bit guilty about forcing her away from her passion yesterday... It was so important to her, almost to the point where he felt a bit envious for some odd reason. He wondered what would happen if he could get her to become that passionate about him... Nah, he couldn't think that. He couldn't lead her anywhere, he'd just have to be himself and see if she accepted it or not. If she went crazy for him, then great, and if not, well, he was going to be one sad little boy.
Sensing that her melody was coming to an end, a song that seemed in stark contrast to the sad one he had heard yesterday, Orion stepped out from his hiding place, hoping to surprise her. He was grinning, though not as exuberantly as he'd like to. The song had relaxed him, and reminded him that he was a bit tired himself... Usually morning would consist of him waking up a couple times, usually early in the morning, and then just going back to sleep. But today when he woke up thinking about her, he didn't go back to sleep. He got his lazy butt out of bed and started searching for her.
"Good morning," he greeted shyly, approaching her. "I like this one a lot better than yesterday's," he admitted, wondering how she would take the comment. He didn't think she would be offended, and hoped she took a bit of harmless criticism. He didn't mention that he'd come here looking for her, though she could probably figure that out on her own.
